Surging Seahawks Poised To Upset Falcons

The surging Seahawks are the best team in football right now and can dispatch of the NFC's No. 1 seed on Sunday. The Falcons are vulnerable in the run game, while Matt Ryan has a dismal 71.2 passer rating in three postseason losses.

Thanks for the Video! I enjoyed the information.

But, Atlanta will win their first playoff game with Matty Ice this Sunday. Why?

Its about the difference in the QB they will face this week versus the ones that beat them the past 3 playoff games.

3 Hall-of-Fame caliber QB's who were hot passing the ball in their playoff wins over Atlanta. Versus Russell Wilson, who may eventually be a Hall-of-Famer but for right now, he's a rookie.

The combined average game the 3 Pro Bowlers had versus Atlanta were: 24 of 33 for 305 yards, for 2.7 T.D.'s and 1 total interception overall. A heck of an average game for any QB.

Wilson, while still a very good QB, has averaged much less. His per game average is 15 of 23 for 183 yards, 1.5 TD's and 10 total interceptions over his 17 game career.

In short, he's not likely to beat Atlanta by having a monster throwing game.

Look for Atlanta to apply extra pressure fairly often. But, they will be much more concerned to keep him in the pocket than get sacks.

I think Atlanta will challenge Seattle to beat them with Wilson's arm. And I don't think Wilson is capable (yet) of a game like the others had versus the Falcons on their way to the Super Bowl.

Enjoy that Seattle Kool-aid, guys. It's about to be traded out for some Southern iced-tea.
