February 6th was D-day for a lot of players across the NFL who were due all sorts of money in 2013.
The Giant's Super Bowl winning half-back Ahmad Bradshaw was due $4.5 million in 2013, and Tom Coughlin didn't see enough in the injury-prone veteran to keep him around.
The Philadelphia Eagles also made a splash yesterday when they dropped lineman Demetress Bell after a disappointing season attempting to fill in the for the No. 1 tackle in the league, Jason Peters.
While the Eagles saved $8.5 million by releasing Bell, they could have saved another $3 million if they would have cut ex-Super star Michael Vick. With that, it looks like there's a chance Vick stays in the city of Brotherly Love after all!
To pile on to the already-overflowing inbox at the rumor mill, today (February 7th), CBSsports.com's Mike Freeman reported that "Kelly embraces the notion of keeping Vick at a reduced rate."
Is it possible? Could Vick really make a return to Philly after his worst season yet?
Let's take a look at the top QB-candidates to lead the Philadelphia Eagles next season.
