It has been reported over the last few days that quarterback Vince Young is going to attend the University of Texas' NFL Pro Day on March 26.

Also, it has been reported that he has written a letter to his former head coach, Jeff Fisher, to apologize for the events that took place in Tennessee. Vince Young wants to show that he has matured as a quarterback and that he is ready to come back to the league and contribute to someone's team.

Let's not kid ourselves, if Vince Young was to come back into the league he would have to be a backup quarterback.

Also, he would have to be a backup quarterback on a team that has a strong locker room, and the team's system would have to be conducive  to him being successful when and if he is called upon to fill in for the starter in case of an injury. Vince Young does have a 31-19 record as a starter, so there is still value in having him on the roster.

Now if I was Vince Young's agent, I would personally tell him that he needs to go play in Canada for a few seasons and win a few Grey Cups before trying to tackle this NFL issue again.

But after he threatens to fire me for telling him the truth and reminds me that I work for him and to do what he asked if I wanted to get paid, these would be the five teams I would call for Vince so that he would at least get a tryout for a backup role.
