The Minnesota Vikings travel to Buffalo to take on the Bills Friday night. What can you look for that may help your Fantasy Draft?
1. Will E.J. Manuel continue his hot start into the starter's job?
Manuel got off too a slow start at Indy on Sunday, but ended up torching the Colts. The Vinking defense historically has not looked good against mobile QBs. Manuel should have an oportunity to solidify his grip on the starting job.
2. Will Christian Ponder play enough for the rest of us to get a look?
TWO FREAKING PLAYS! Yes, it's preseason, but couldn't we get a little more from the biggest question mark on this team? Of course, it doesn't help that he threw a pick on his second throw of the night.
3. Da'Rick Rogers might be the steal of the draft...or not.
I know, he wasn't drafted. But I'm talking about your fantasy draft. This kid has every measurable you could ask for. Except his head, it's made of rocks. Think about this, Tennesee had Rogers, Cordarelle Patterson, and Justin Hunter. That Lane Kiffin sure knows how to recruit him some WR's.
4. The Vikings have some big-time playmakers on defense...and concerns.
Jared Allen, Chad Greenway, and Harrison Smith could be Pro-Bowlers and IDP studs. That being said, can this squad stop the pass anytime soon? I heard on ESPN this morning that the Vikes have been last against Total QBR the past couple years. QBR, what a joke!
5. Don't expect much from the stud RB's.
Adrian Peterson and C.J. Spiller should be off your draft boards in the first five picks. They are electric with the ball in their hands and will be the cornerstone to many a championship contender this season. It sucks, but we probably won't see much of either come Friday night. Too bad, I was hoping to see Spiller puke.
