Let's face it, the NFL is as much about fantasy football success as it is about our own team's success. Each season we study the trends, we predict the sleepers and then we draft a handful of players who we believe can take us to a glorious championship.
We become emotionally invested in our players, willing them and cursing them in equal measure through every gut-wrentching NFL game. And every season, without fail, at least some of those players let us down.
We put our faith in them to rack up the points and lead our teams to victory each week, and each week they seem to flop like LeBron James in a playoff game. Last year it was Darren McFadden and Michael Vick that led the way on that front. The year before that it was Chris Johnson and Vincent Jackson.
Every single season we get a handful of disappointing fantasy players, and this season is no different. This year, we have a brand new set of players who have let down our fantasy football sides this season.
Players that we drafted early and simply haven't produced for our teams, whether that be because they're running behind a bad offensive line, they're catching passes from a terrible quarterback or they have been hit by the all consuming injury bug (Darren McFadden has all three excuses).
Whatever the reason, these guys have well and truly sucked in this fantasy season. So, without further ado, here are the ten biggest fantasy disappointments of 2013 (so far)...
