If you are like me, during the NFL regular season all the way through the conclusion of the Super Bowl, you are consumed by football 24/7. That all came to a screeching halt late last Sunday night as we watched Ray Lewis walk out into the middle of the field and ascend into heaven, after his Baltimore Ravens held off a very competitive San Fransisco 49ers team 34-31, to win Super Bowl XLVII.
In years past, we would have the forgettable Pro Bowl to look forward to, but since the NFL decided to move it between the conference championship games and the Super Bowl, we have no live football to look forward to. Without football, what is one to do?
Sure, we have the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis approaching in a couple of weeks and the 2013 NFL Rookie Draft in April to look forward to, but it doesn't quench our immediate thirst for more of America's most watched professional sport.
