The 2012 season proved to be an exciting one for the history books. The season was filled with many ups and downs from the replacement referees blowing calls and slowing games down to start the season; to Saints quarterback Drew Brees breaking Johnny Unitas' consecutive games with a touchdown record.

The rookies in 2012 even left their marks on the NFL season with Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III, and Russell Wilson leading their respective teams into the playoffs.

Russell Wilson even took it one step further when he tied Peyton Manning's 14-year touchdown record.
