Tampa Bay improved on their 2011, 4-12 record by finishing 7-9 in 2012, under rookie head coach Greg Schiano.

Even though their record improved, their pass defense was the worst in the league, quarterback Josh Freeman still couldn’t get the job done down the stretch, and Tampa Bay was unable to close out ballgames.

For Tampa Bay to improve in 2013 they are going have to find or keep the best players possible so that both their offense and defense can get stronger. In this article I look at five players that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers must either sign or re-sign to help them be a contender in the 2013 season.
