No. 3 Auburn (11-1) travels to No. 5 Missouri (11-1) on Saturday in what could be another SEC shootout.
And 12 months ago no one would have predicted that the 2012 SEC Championship game would be contested by Auburn and Missouri in the battle of the 'Tigers'.
Auburn is now on a streak of eight straight wins. Their win over No. 4 Alabama was one of the most dramatic finishes in sport let alone college football.
Missouri held off Texas A&M by beating them 28-21 last week to secure their place in the Championship game.
Both college teams have come a long way in the last twelve months but on Saturday there can only be one winner.
Here are the three things to know about this game;
1. This is anyone's game.
Auburn and Missouri are averaging 38.6 and 38.8 points per game on the offense. There is just two points difference in the total points scored this season, Auburn with 463 points and Missouri with 465 points.
2. It's all about the running game.
Tre Mason has run for more than 100 yards for the last four games now. Mason has been a real asset to Auburn, 237 carries has brought about 1,317 rushing yards and 18 rushing touchdowns this season. Four Missouri players have 400 or more rushing yards. Henry Josey leads with 153 carries for 951 rushing yards and 13 rushing touchdowns.
3. It's another key game.
This is only the second meeting between the two, the first being Missouri's 34-17 victory in the 1973 Sun Bowl.
For head coaches Gus Malzahn and Gary Pinkel, the only stats that the two will be interested in is the amount of points on the scoreboard at the end of the game.
Whatever the outcome there is no doubt that this will be a great game of football.
