The Minnesota Vikings are looking to bounce back from a horrendous 2013 season that led to the dismissal of head coach Leslie Frazier and ushered in a new era with the fiery Mike Zimmer. Zimmer, the former defensive coordinator of the Cincinnati Bengals is one of the best in the business at resurrecting defenses. This challenge for him in Minnesota should be interesting as the Vikings were not great defensively in 2013 and with the departure of Jared Allen have a lot to work to do right away. The drafting of Teddy Bridgewater with the 32nd pick should if things go well bring an end to the debacle that has been the Christian Ponder regime at quarterback. If Bridgewater does not win the job that general manager Rick Spielman is probably going to get fired pretty quickly and life at TCF Stadium is going to be miserable in 2014.
