According to Zach Berman at the Philadelphia Inquirer, "It is "very unlikely" that the Eagles will use the franchise player tag on any of their seven unrestricted free agents, according to a league source. That group includes cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, who was likely the only player under consideration.
DRC wasn't exactly very hyped up when coming to Philly, mostly because Eagles fans were drooling over superstar Nnamdi Asomugha coming to town to surely shut down every receiver in his path.
