Yes, the Eagles have lost eight straight.
Yes he has publicly come out and said he regrets releasing Juan Castillo.
Yes, he has lost control of his team.
Yes, he could come back in 2013.
There is no doubt it would be a longshot, but it isn't out of the realm of possibility.
On Monday's press conference, he said that he and owner Jeffery Lurie have yet to speak about Reid leaving after this season.
Well maybe that's because he'll be back for another year.
At least, he's coaching like he is.
Reid released defensive end Jason Babin to make room for the young guys. He then fired defensive line coach Jim Washburn and named Nick Foles starter for remainder of the year to see what he can do.
Either Reid is coming back next year, or he really cares about this team, despite the fans calling for his head every week.
I would sure rather have him back in Philly, then in Dallas which has become quite the hot rumor.
There is no doubt head coach Andy Reid has had a legendary career while in Philadelphia. He is the winning-est coach in team history and is widely respected throughout the NFL.
There is also no doubt, that Andy Reid may very well be on his way out of town at season's end.
Don't worry about Reid though, he will have plenty of teams begging for his services come 2013, if he's out of Philadelphia.
On the other hand, the Eagles are stacked with talent on both sides of the ball (despite what their record indicates) and any coach looking for a job would be drooling over what the birds have to offer.
Who will be in the Philadelphia Eagles' head coaching sweepstakes this offseason?

Wouldn't that be awesome? I don't know, something tells me he won't be back next year though...
