The Philadelphia Eagles are sitting right near the bottom of the NFC East at 3-6. Thankfully, they're not lonely as the Redskins are technically in last place also at 3-6.
While most people have already ruled the Eagles and Redskins out of the playoffs, it's still mathematically possible they can get in, and you know head coaches Andy Reid and Mike Shanahan are shoving that bit of knowledge down their players' throats.
That's why this game is a must win for the Eagles.
There's still a chance the Eagles get in the playoffs.
There's still a chance Andy Reid keeps his job.
There's still a chance; but it won't be easy.
Expect the Eagles to play harder than they have all year, for their coach, and their jobs. Even if they have a rookie quarterback starting his first game leading the team.
