Peyton ManningDenver Broncos future Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning is having a killer season while his team is sitting undefeated at 4-0.

When you watch Manning this season you see that you can’t stop him but only hope to contain him.

There is nothing that Peyton Manning can’t do on the field. These moments make fans love the game of football.

What we’re watching is history in the making.

Not just an undefeated team or Manning’s personal stats of 16 touchdowns and zero interceptions in his first four games. We are watching in my eyes the greatest quarterback of all time giving us his final years as a pro but with grace and excellence.

We as fans can argue for hours, days, months and years about who’s greater; Manning or Brady. But numbers don’t lie and when Manning is on the field he executes efficiently to his targets as Tom Brady does too. But Manning comes from a different pedigree.

The only knock on Manning is that he’s only got one championship under his belt and his season accolades are just that and he falls under pressure in the playoffs. I want to see Peyton Manning flourish in the playoffs and not just put up gaudy numbers in the season and the Denver Broncos get an early exit in the playoffs.

When you ask about Peyton Manning to many around the country they will say he’s a great quarterback that is one, if not the greatest, but he doesn’t get it done in the playoffs. I see where people are coming from and that’s why I’m not paying too much attention of his touchdowns but I’m waiting to see what he does in January.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m having a thrill watching Manning in action just throwing the ball to his main target, wide receiver Wes Welker, for the first down and touchdown. What makes this team great is Peyton Manning. I know they have a very good defense, but without this spectacular quarterback they would just be a wild card team.
