The New England Patriots have been widely criticized for a lack-luster off-season following a disappointing playoff run in 2012. Many of their fans felt that Belichick and company did precious little to address the serious needs that were exposed on both sides of the ball.

Keep in mind that we are talking about the most prolific offense in the league in 2012, in case you are inclined to agree. Truly, the biggest need was defensive secondary, which surrendered serious yardage in crucial situations.

So, the question remains, did the Patriots do enough to fix their pre-existing problems, as well as, holes left after all the free agent departures?
