In this Thursday Night Thriller, divisional foes, San Diego and Kansas City will meet in the trenches to do battle.
In Week 4, the Chargers routed the Chiefs at Arrowhead by a score of 37-20.
Since then, the Chargers have dropped three games in a row.
San Diego is welcoming the Chiefs to Qualcomm with their season hanging in the balance. The pressure has mounted for the Chargers and their coach.
Rumors have begun to circulate, saying that if Norv Turner loses this one, he may also lose his job.
I don't think there is a chance that San Diego loses this game.
Besides, Kansas City will help them out by NOT giving Jamaal Charles a sufficient amount of touches.
We've been fortunate enough to witness many upsets throughout the seasons; from the Music City Miracle, to the Immaculate Reception, to the Miracle at the Meadowlands. However, some games won't ever be pegged as such.
The old adage says, "On Any Given Sunday," but sometimes that just doesn't apply. For some teams, whether they played on Sunday, Thursday, or Wednesday, at home or away, their fate is already pre-determined.
There is no difference here! In Week 9 of the 2012 season, there are several games that will follow suit. Although I could probably give you more, I'll only give you the Top 5.

Just the last one. The Bills are...well, yeah.
The other picks are good though!
Thanks for the info!
I meant as they did to the Saints the year that they one the Superbowl. Beating the Saints after the 13-0 start.
Although I don't think the Cowboys will do it, I do see the the Falcons faltering soon. You haven't played the Giants, 49ers, or Packers yet. And you'll have to get through them. You've only beat ONE team over .500. I don't if you'll convince Chris, but they'll have to do a lot more to convince me.
Idk about that! I had them to win then, as I do now... However, the glory days won't last forever.
Thanks for pointing that out, Derek.
