Having the top overall pick in the Draft can be an exciting time for any organization, so exciting, that even Hollywood has made a movie about this proposition, that is coming out April 11 almost one month to the day before the draft appropriately titled Draft Day.

The team holding the top selection has a chance to change the direction of the organization by controling their own destiny and getting the guy they really want and not just saying that after the fact.

It's the difference between settling for Rick Mirer and Ryan Leaf when Drew Bledsoe and Peyton Manning were on the board.

This list will be some of the biggest blunders with the top pick in hand, the performance being the key factor, what they could have drafted will be considered and (spoiler alert!) if any trades altered the pick and how each team made out.
