Between Eli Manning's turnover woes and Robert Griffin's dad in the locker room there is plenty to talk about but here are three bold predictions for this week's game between the New York Giants and Washington Redskins.
The Giants defense will shut down Griffin and Alfred Morris
The Giants defense has been very good as of late as they look like the Giants of old. Jason Pierre-Paul and Justin Tuck have started playing up to expectations again and RGIII will be running for his life this Sunday. The Redskins run game will get shut down as a whole as it continues its losing ways. Somewhere Jeff Fisher is licking his chops at the top 10 pick he will get from them in the 2014 draft.
The Giants wide receivers will have big games
Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks will both bust out this week for over 100 yards receiving. The Redskins secondary has been terrible and Manning should have a field day against on of the league's worst secondaries. We will see the salsa from Cruz and the former North Carolina wide out earning himself a little more money in free agency next season.
It's a bird. It's a plane. It's....Kirk Cousins?
Yes, this is the week that we see Cousins. With Griffin struggling and Shannahan coaching for his job, he will have to make some bold moves. Cousins has had some success already in limited oppotunities and he should be able to do better than a less than 100 percent Griffin. Yes, this is the week that we will see Cousins. At least if Shannahan cares about his job.
