I have been a New York Giants fan since I was a kid. From that horrible day in 1978 when Herman Edwards gave Philly fans the Miracle in the Meadowlands, to Scott Norwood's wide kick, to Big Blue's postseason dominance of the seemingly invincible Patriots -- I was hooked.
When we lost, you wanted to go out and hang yourself. But when we win, these events are glorious.
The heroes of the G-Men have been many, but when I think of the faces on the mountain, the all-time greats, the guys that changed New York football (and NFL football, for that matter) that "many" shrinks to a handful.
These men are the best of the best; the icons of New York Giants football.
