Minnesota Vikings over Chicago Bears
This is a tough one to pick as both sides are dealing with key injuries but Minnesota is desperate for a win against its divisional rival.
With Brian Urlacher and Tim Jennings out, the Vikings should be able to move the ball even without Percy Harvin.
Expect to see plenty of Adrian Peterson breaking through the second level of the Bears' defense and scoring on at least one long run.
Throw in the fact that Charles Tillman is dealing with a chipped bone in his foot and Lance Briggs is nursing a sore ankle and the Vikings should be able to put some points on the board even if Ponder has to throw the ball a little every now and then to keep the Bears honest.
The Vikings are 3-point underdogs at home. That should be incentive enough for them to pull this one off and they will, but not by much.
Last week saw some big upsets. Big enough to make professional handicappers stop and scratch their heads. The Colts upset the Lions in Detroit and the Seahawks dismantled the aging Bears' defense at Soldier Field.
Both results will have playoff implications. Meanwhile, Jeff Fisher has to be happy about coming out of his division with a win and a tie against the 49ers.
The same can't be said for Ravens fans, however, after an unconvincing win in San Diego was followed up with a loss at home to the Charlie Batch-led Steelers.
So what upsets can we expect this week? Here’s a breakdown of my top ‘dogs for this week.
