Jon Martin It may sound like a broken record, but don’t expect to see too much at the Hall of Fame Game Sunday night.

While there are still questions to be answered on the offensive line, with the receivers and the secondary, this is just an audition of sorts for NFL preseason.

Don’t expect starters and stars to play all that much.

Don’t worry, the Cowboys will be going through the same motions as these Dolphins. With questions at running back, defensive depth and offensive line play, Dallas is in the same boat as Miami. And to think these two teams could surprise us all and make the playoffs this season.

Here are a few things I want to see from Sunday night’s “scrimmage” in Canton, OH.

The connection between Tannehill and the new receivers

How will Ryan Tannehill and Mike Wallace connect against someone else there own defense? Can the long ball be the new “in” thing in Miami? How will the Dolphins' receivers and tight end Dustin Keller match up with the Dallas secondary?

Jonathan Martin, Take 2

Martin has been struggling at left tackle so far in training camp. While it would appear that Olivier Vernon has been able to dominate the new left tackle of this team, it will interesting to see what he does against the Dallas front line.

According to a story on fanside.com, taken from the Miami Herald, “it hasn’t been going smoothly in the first few sessions of camp.”

Martin, however as the story reports, doesn’t think there is a problem on the practice field.

Brian Hartline’s injury

Hartline was the team’s best receiver last season and will start as the team’s No. 2 receiver, was injured this week in camp and has been wearing a black sleeve on his calf. Will Hartline be at full speed on Sunday? How has he adjusted to being the second option on the outside?

Offensive line shuffle

Mike Pouncey playing center and guard in practice. A new right tackle in Tyson Clabo. Josh Samuda getting more time with the first line and time at guard and center shows two things. First, the offensive is still not set and the line will have great versatility once it is set. Also, how will Dallas Thomas play in his first real play of the year?

Welcome to the NFL, Dion Jordan

Does Jordan see a lot of play in the preseason? Will he play on special teams? Will he apply pressure to the quarterback? How will he play opposite Cameron Wake? Jordan was a surprise pick by this team and he must deliver to justify his selection when offensive line was the most pressing issue.
