By the size of the Dallas Cowboys new team bus it's true that everything is bigger in Texas. After putting in the largest jumbo tron in his new stadium when he opened it May 27, 2009, team owner Jerry Jones has now taken things one step further and now has “Jerry World On Wheels” for his convenience when he is on the road.
The Cowboys new team bus; “The Elegant Lady” is by far the most luxurious office on wheels. The mobile fortress is 45 feet long, 102 inches wide, and cost an estimated $1.5 to $2.5 million. This bus has all the features including:
Nine televisions; including one outside for tailgating
Three blue ray players
Three plush couches
A full kitchen with refrigerator
A display case made of Tiffany crystals
A 225 gallon gas tank
That is not all. when parked the bus will open up for more leg space. The most important thing of all is that the STAR is laid in the flooring. The bus would not be complete without the team logo.
With this bus now rolling, it is the ultimate representation by a team in the NFL for road games. Maybe now the rest of the fans will realize that Cowboys Nation is the most recognized franchise in the world; no matter what other teams' quarterbacks say.
Jerry and son Stephen should also consider making the bus an option for players to get home with legal battles his players are facing. A charter service for drunk driving could also be a good way to smooth things over with M.A.D.D.
