I've grown up as a Jets fan. We are used to losing on field, but lately we've been losing both off and on the field. It's like there's a chronic need for the Jets to put their foot inside one's mouth.

Nick Mangold spoke to Jets' reporter Bart Hubbach of the New York Post. He commented on how the Bill Belichick must be losing his mind in New England:

"I bet Bill (Belichick) is losing his mind right now," Mangold said.

Nick Mangold was referring to the problems the Patriots are having; including Rob Gronkowski's surgeries, the Tim Tebow signing and Aaron Hernandez's legal issues. (Not to mention Tom Brady is now closer to age 40 than 30)

If a player like Peyton Manning or Adrian Peterson spoke about the Patriots struggles; that’s one thing. However the New York Jets have more than enough problems of their own. Bill Belichick could just wear one of his three super bowl rings and the Jets would be silenced. However I think Belichick enjoys watching the Jets never ending game of stupidity. Nick Mangold should not be commenting on the Patriots when the Jets have more than enough to worry about themselves. (I mean unless the lack the offense and uncertainty about their QB and Head Coach isn't a concern.)

Below are some other Jets' quotes from this off season. Comment on which quote you think is the worst. By the way last year Jets' fans (not myself) could play the Tim Tebow drinking game. Every time ESPN mentioned Tim Tebow, someone could drink a shot. Now Jets' fans can play the foot in mouth drinking game. Whenever the Jets say something stupid....... (Do I even need to finish the thought?)

"I'm a hell of a lot better football coach than I'm given credit for. I don't care. I don't need the credit. But I can tell you one thing, when it's said and done, they'll look back and say, 'Oh man, this dude can coach his butt off.' And you know what? It's true. And I'll let the people that know best talk on my behalf about the kind of coach I am. I don't have to brag, even though statistically, I can brag about anything I've ever done defensively." -Rex Ryan, June 2013

"Right now Sanchez, and that's who we're going with and we're going to continue this road until time permits.” Santonio Holmes 2013
