The Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans clash together in this AFC South matchup.
Both teams are banged up; QB Matt Schaub out for Houston and seemingly half of Indy's offensive skill players are out as well.
There is a possibilty for a few surprises this game.
I have a few predictions for Sunday's matchup that some would consider -- bold!
Indy RB Donald Brown will rush for over 100 yards
RB Trent Richardson hasn't yet lived up to expectations in Indianapolis. With Richardson struggling and Ahmad Bradshaw and Vick Ballard out for the season, Donald Brown is stepping up.
The 2009 1st round draft pick hasn't lived up to expecations either, but he has shown new life this season. Brown, who is more comfortable in the offense than Richardson, might see more carries than Richardson this week. With WR Reggie Wayne out for the season with an ACL injury, Indianapolis may look to run the ball even more.
Don't be surprised if Brown goes for over 100 rushing yards and a TD this week.
Houston QB Case Keenum will out-perform Andrew Luck
Case Keenum surprised many people with his performance against Kansas City's elite defense. Keenum has a real possibility of out-dueling Andrew Luck this week. Although Indy's defense has played well this year, Keenum has only one NFL start under his belt so there's not a lot of film on him.
Luck could struggle this week with only T.Y. Hilton and Coby Fleener to throw to, since Darrius Heyward-Bey's hands are seemingly made of stone.
Indy K Adam Vinatieri makes 55+ yard FG
Before the season, I said Adam Vinatieri was the most overratted player on the Indianapolis Colts. This season, Vinatieri has seemingly proved all of his doubters wrong.
Vinatieri has found the "Fountain of Youth" and resurrected his career. When Vinatieri kicks long FGs, he's making them with room to spare. I think Vinatieri will make a 55+ yard FG in Sunday's game at age 40.
