For most college students, finals week has passed not to long ago and before their brains spontaneously combust from all the studying and lack of sleep, I have one last question.
Tim Couch, Jamarcus Russell, and Andre Ware are...a) former quarterbacks, b) busts, c) college players that skipped their last year of eligibility, d) all of the above.
If you answered D then you were correct. College Underclassman are valuable to expanding the talent pool in a draft but sometimes a player just needs an extra year to mature.
This is not saying every player that leaves earlier then anticipated will be a bust but it may hamper them from reaching their full potential. For every Adrian Peterson, there is an Andre Ware that left too early. These five players would defiantly be better served with staying the extra year.
