Houston Texans @ Jacksonville Jaguars

Houston:  The Texans come off a predictable and complete dismantling in week 1 of a Dolphins team that is bound to have a tough year.  Even with losing Mario Williams to free agency, this defense is still formidable, as Ryan Tannehill found out.  Of course, if the defense stifles the Jaguars repeatedly, that will likely hold down the pass attempts for Matt Schaub.  This week, don’t expect Schaub to have to throw the ball more than perhaps 25-30 times, but that won’t stop him from tossing a touchdown or two.

If Schaub does throw a TD, it’s a good bet it’ll end up in the hands of BFF Andre Johnson, who is healthy and a must start once again this year.  If Johnson doesn’t catch one, almost assuredly Owen Daniels will, who also is another important player that’s finally healthy.

Look for Arian Foster to get back fully on track here, with well over 100 total yards and at least one if not two scores.  Ben Tate could even get some cleanup action in this one.

Good Start:  RB Arian Foster, WR Andre Johnson, TE Owen Daniels

Middle of the Road:  QB Matt Schaub

Bad Start:  RB Ben Tate, WR Kevin Walter

Jacksonville:  Blaine Gabbert looked like an actual fantasy worthy quarterback last week in leading the Jaguars to a thrilling overtime defeat, but playing the Vikings will do that to you.  Expect a cold dose of reality here from the Texans pass rush.

On the ground, Reggie Bush had a pretty decent afternoon yardage wise against the Texans, so expect Maurice Jones-Drew to do at least as well and could sneak into the endzone in this one.  MJD doesn’t even have to worry about sharing with Rashad Jennings, who ended up hurt in the first half of last week’s game and is out of the picture for at least one game.  This makes Jones-Drew a strong play, and likely the only one for the Jags this week.

Good Start:  RB Maurice Jones-Drew

Middle of the Road:  TE Marcedes Lewis

Bad Start:  QB Blaine Gabbert, WR Laurent Robinson, WR Justin Blackmon
