With his job in jepordy, Oakland Raiders head coach Dennis Allen didn't want to start a rookie quarterback So he originally planned to redshirt Derek Carr after stealing him in the second round of this year's draft. But after an impressive offseason, Carr has passed Matt McGloin as the No. 2 quarterback.

And if Matt Shaub doesn't return to his 2008-12 form, Carr will have to start as a rookie. Should that happen, that could very well be the best thing that could happen to the Raiders. Carr actually has every quality it takes to win with the Raiders right now!
