After last week’s game against Baltimore, Dallas looks ready to dominate a struggling Carolina team. But Dallas has proven inconsistent in recent years, especially this season, and there’s no telling which team will show up.
1. Check your fantasy team because Tony Romo is going to have a big game.
The best news for Dallas was the success of their offensive line last week. They only gave up one sack last week and Phil Costa, starting center, will return for this week’s game against the Panthers.
With Felix Jones and DeMarco Murray in the backfield, you will start to see a more balanced attack on the offensive side of the ball which means Carolina won't be able to focus on the pass all game. Add a weak pass rush into the mix and Romo should have all day in the pocket.
Romo has thrown an interception in six straight games, this is the game he breaks that streak.
2. The game will be decided by a touchdown or less.
Turnovers and penalties are the reasons Dallas and Carolina have been struggling all season. You can expect the game to be kept close with mishaps and follies.
Aside from suffering a blowout to the Giants in week 3, all of Carolina's games have been decided by an average of five points.
3. Dez Bryant will be the x-factor.
Bryant left last week's game with a groin injury and is listed as questionable on the injury report.
Bryant has been targeted 28 times in the last two games which means his health will play a major role as the Cowboys face a weak Panther secondary. He's also one of the few recievers that hasn't struggled with dropped balls this season and is the Cowboys' biggest deep ball threat.
