RGIIIBold Prediction No. 1:  RGIII excites the “cult crazed” Skins fans and statistically lights it up

After two games, Griffin is second on the team in rushing and has thrown for 526 yards.

But what stands out is his 71 percent completion rate with three touchdowns and one interception.

Skins Nation has been waiting for a quarterback to lead them back to relevance, and Griffin will deliver.

Stat line: 17-23 for 267 yards, two touchdowns; seven carries for 83 yards and one touchdown.

Bold Prediction No. 2: The Washington Redskins' defense will struggle -- and struggle

It’s early and just two weeks in, but the Redskins are ranked 28th in total defense and the Bengals bring a potent offense into the Nation’s capital.

The Bengals feature second-year up-and-coming stars Andy Dalton at quarterback, A.J. Green at wide receiver and former Patriot known as “The Law Firm,” BenJarvus Green-Ellis.

Green-Ellis ran for 75 yards against Cleveland last week and will have a big rushing game against Washington. The Redskins were dealt bad news when they learned that Brian Orakpo and Adam Carriker suffered season-ending injuries.

Those two won’t be easily replaced and it will take time for the replacements to gel with the current defense. Stat line: BenJarvis Green-Ellis 27 carries for 168 yards and two touchdowns.

Bold Prediction No. 3: Andy Dalton will have a so-so day but, find a way to win.

The Skins frustrated the New Orleans Saints in Week 1 and pretty much contained their high-powered offense on the road. Andy Dalton is nowhere near the level of Drew Brees, and he doesn’t have a plethora of weapons like New Orleans.

However, A.J. Green is a star in the making and will give the Washington secondary some fits. I don’t think Andy Dalton wows us and earns tons of fantasy points against this secondary, but he will do enough to escape Washington with a win and spoil RGIII highly anticipated first home game.

Final score: Cincinnati 30 Washington 23.
