Chad Johnson was all suited up in a Miami Dolphins uniform last summer, ready to go into the season as the No. 1 receiver. Well, that quickly ended when Johnson reportedly beat up his wife after a verbal fight.
After this incident was made known to the public, new coach Joe Philbin realized he didn't need any negative attention on his team, so he booted Johnson off the squad.
Surprisingly, Johnson wasn't picked up throughout the season as many thought he would. Well, it's a new season and there has to be someone that Johnson is better than.
Johnson is 6'1", 188 pounds and 35 years old. Although he is up there in age, he still showed speed and route running ability in Dolphins' training camp last summer.
He still has great hands and is sure rested up after having this past season off. Johnson can surely be used as a No. 1 receiver, but I would say it's more likely he goes somewhere as a No. 2 guy.
If a team is desperate enough, he may get lucky with a No. 1 spot, but I just don't see it.
Now, let's take a look at Johnson's possible destinations this season.
