This was a very interesting season for Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers started off winning only 2 of their first 10 games. Questions started to surface about the leadership skills of QB Cam Newton, if head coach Ron Rivera was actually the right man for the job, and if this team would be dismantled after giving a combined $80 million in extensions to its two running backs, DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart.

However, down the stretch, the Panthers turned it on winning 5 of their last 6 games. Their play going into the end of the season showed ownership enough that they turned down the burner under head coach Ron Rivera's seat.  As for the team, they definitely have something to build on going into the 2013 season. There are some things that this team can do to keep the momentum going and make next season a good year for the Panthers. If the team vows to make these 3 things happen, they could make a serious run at a playoff spot next season.
