As an avid Browns fan, the last few years I've struggled watching the product that they've put on the field. This year so far has been no different.
The Browns drop to 0-3 once again and look like they may never win a game this season.
Rookie quarterback Brandon Weeden looks good at times, but for the most part he's sporadic and unreliable.
Trent Richardson looks great at times, but also looks soft and doesn't commit to holes on other runs. He will learn that in the NFL, sometimes you just have to take what you can get.
Every run is not going to result in a 30-yard play like it did when he was at Alabama. With all that being said, I like some of the things that I see out of these two young players.
Hero of the Game: Usama Young
Without his penetrating tackle on C.J. Spiller that knocked him out of the game in the first quarter, this game probably wouldn't even have been close. With Spiller in, the Bills jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first and were driving again when Spiller was knocked out.
Zero of the Game: Trent Richardson
Richardson followed up a great performance last week with a whopping 27 yards rushing. He did manage to find the end zone, but that's all the good that can be said about this lackluster performance. Way to perform in front of Jim Brown.
Usually the team that loses the game won't have the Hero of the Game award, but it was an ugly game and would've been uglier if Spiller hadn't went down.
