Jeff, are you a cowgirl fan? No way in hell are the redskins a 2 win team. Are they going to win the East? Probably not. First of all they will not get swept. Hell, with sexy rexy they swept the giants last year. The skins were in most games last year with alot of injuries and won 5 with the worst QB's in the league. Their D has another year to to gel with the 3-4 and are deep on the line with Jenkins coming back from Injury. How much worse could the offense get? The WR 's were upgraded and I haven't even mentioned that RG3 could be horrible and he is still a threat and better than Rexy or J. Beck. This is a team that can supprise people.
How can they not win? They've gotta unleash the dragon!
Rex Grossman III= The Real RG3?
Sure, the Giants laid a dud against the Redskins last year late in the season, but I'd hardly use that loss and a Week 1 loss as reasoning for why the Redskins aren't going to be swept in the NFC East. The fact of the matter is that the rest of the NFC East is out of the Redskins' league-- simply better on both sides of the ball. Could the Redskins steal a game somewhere? Sure. Will they? I doubt it.
I go through each game for the 2012 Season game-by-game to come up with the final records for each team-- I don't just guess a record for everyone. I simply didn't see the wins for this team when I was determining records. Saints? Bengals? Falcons? Panthers? Ravens? The only reason the Redskins' strength of schedule is 24th is because they play the Rams and Vikings (a combined 5-27 last year). Of the remaining 8 games (not including the division here), 5 are against playoff teams. The other three are away games against the Rams and Browns and a home game against the Panthers. 4-12 at best.
If this is a team that can surprise people... I'd definitely be one of the very surprised people.
Are you surprised yet? So are we going 1 and 14 now?
The man is a tackle-machine. If your Fantasy Football League uses IDP (and they should!), he's a top defender for you!
Don't you understand, Mario, everyone has jumped off the Eagles' bandwagon, and that means that the Eagles will do great! Plus, they've got a pretty loaded team and finished the year by crushing five teams in a row (Cowboys included).
(NOTE: I have probably jinxed the Eagles by singing their praises this offseason. Eagles fans, I am sorry.)
Thanks, LaMonte. And we'll see about those Redskins. I'm pretty sure they did get swept in the East just a couple of years ago (not that that really matters now).
