In all sports it's always impressive when a team or players can perform at the max level for a string of consecutive games. While taking the sport(s) to new heights, these amazing feats also inspire, encourage and excite.

After the Miami Heat's amazing run of 27 straight victories came to an end in Chicago last night, I decided to look back at some of the best streaks in NFL history and rank them from first to last.

Great list. And not just because Tom is on there for almost half of it.

Thanks for reading buddy! I tried not to have him on there too much but he's been a part of some impressive ones!

This is honestly one of the best top 10 lists I have read....ever...on any site. Very well done. Nice mix of accomplishments. I would argue with 1 an 2 being swapped. My thinking is that you have 2 QBs within 7 games of Brees's record, an Brady's streak is active at 48! I don't think you can give the #1 overall record to someone who will likely see if fall by October of this year.

Any idea who is 2nd on that list of consecutive starts for a QB? Its peyton manning and he is nearly 100 game shy of Favre and obviously his streak ended. Eli Manning is after that and he would need to play 11 more seasons without missing a game to catch Favre. Its just insane.

Overall, very nice read.

thanks man! i thought the same at first, i'm not taking anything away from Favre at all, but he could only do 26 consecutives with a touchdown pass. The fact Eli has to play another decade to catch up is incredible. Thanks for reading!
