This week's game for Atlanta was about pride. They were out of the playoff race and just wanted to show everyone that they were not going to roll over and play dead. The game for Tampa was about learning what they have. Like the Falcons they have been devastated by injury but no one expected much out of them anyway. Here are five things we learned from today's matchup.

Steven Jackson is a shell of his old self

Whether it is lack of blocking or lack of weapons in the aerial attack Jackson has not been the weapon the Falcons had hoped. Hemissed the majority of the early season to injury and when he has been on the field he looks slow and lacked explosiveness.Atlanta would do well to draft a replacement for Jackson next season.

Matt Ryan minus Julio Jones equals disaster

Even with Roddy White and Tony Gonzalez on the field Ryan just cannot seem to make the same explosive plays he used to. Jones was his go to guy. With everyone focusing on Gonzalez while White is hobbled Ryan has no where to throw the ball. Maybe he is not quite the cool-under-pressure guy we all thought he was.

Mike Glennon is the future in Tampa

Other than the fact that the current starter was Josh Freeman, there was a reason Glennon was drafted. Glennon is a very good quarterback with a strong arm. Like other rookies he still makes the wrong reads at times, but having a big target like Jackson to throw to life gets a little easier. Glennon looks like the man in Tampa and the future looks bright.

Bobby Rainey is a good back

To be completely honest, until a couple weeks ago I had no idea who Rainet was. Rainey came out this week against a weak run defense and showed his talents as a runner and a pass catcher. He has speed and even when Doug Martin returns next season I see Rainey taking a few carries away from him.

With the fourth pick in the NFL draft...

The Atlanta Falcons select Jadaveon Clowney. The Falcons need to draft a pass rush in the 2014 NFL draft and they will be picking early enough to draft the man-child with all the hype. Clowney's work ethic has been questioned, but the Falcons are a veteran team that can straighten the kid up.
