It is what it its folks.

Someday, someone is going to catch up with the SEC and it's current king, the Alabama Crimson Tide.

But it may take Nick Saban moving on to the NFL.

They're are a myriad of reasons and hypothesis as to why no one can seem to catch Alabama or whoever may happen to the rule the SEC. And we'll get to that later.

But what matters now is this. Alabama is number one again. Third time in four years. Saban is without question the best coach in college football and his latest challenger, Brian Kelly, was no match Monday night in Miami, FL.

Here is a 6th thing-Notre Dame would never have qualified for the championship game if they were in the SEC, or there would have been a playoff this year. If they want to stay independent, then they should have to play a play-in game next year to get into the championship game. On other threads I was saying that play-in game should be against the SEC champ. game loser, but let me change that to the game's winner. That winner is already in the BCS title game, and then if ND beats them, they have a re-match. If ND loses, get some worthy team in there.
