Arizona’s backfield is already littered with injury-plagued runners, so why not add another?
Bradshaw’s 1,015 rushing yards nearly surpassed the league-worst 1,204 yards compiled by LaRod Stephens-Howling (356 yards, 3.2 YPA, 4 TD), Beanie Wells (234 yards, 2.7 YPA, 5 TD), William Powell (217 yards, 3.6 YPA, 0 TD) and Ryan Williams (164 yards, 2.8 YPA, 0 TD).
With Stephens-Howling hitting the free agent market, new coach Bruce Arians could use an all-around running back like Bradshaw to anchor the league’s 32nd ranked offense—31st in points.
But Bradshaw could do better than Arizona with its offensive line ranked dead last in run blocking.
The New York Giants have significant depth and youth at running back—David Wilson and Andre Brown—exposing six-year veteran Ahmad Bradshaw to free agency in spite of a gutsy 1,260 yards from scrimmage performance in 2012.
Bradshaw’s versatility makes him very attractive—he returned punts and kicks his first two seasons out of Marshall—but foot and ankle injuries that have prevented him from starting a 16-game season will dampen some teams’ enthusiasm.
Bradshaw (1,015 rushing yards, 4.6 yards per attempt, 6 touchdowns) will share the free agent spotlight with the likes of: Steven Jackson (1,045 yds, 4.5 YPA, 4 TD), Reggie Bush (986 yds, 4.3 YPA, 6 TD) and Rashard Mendenhall (182 yds, 3.6 YPA, 0 TD). He could be the cream of that crop as his off-season foot surgery heals on schedule to be 100 percent by the start of OTA’s.

Absolutely, Lucas. I'm a little surprised he's still out there. I guess everybody is spooked by the injuries. Bush and Fred Taylor started their careers with injury troubles but eventually overcame them.
