The league is known as pass happy, but the truth is that you do need some sort of a running game to open it up for your passing offense. Just ask the Detroit Lions. They are a good example of this recently. The addition of Reggie Bush and the emergence of Joique Bell has really opened up their passing offense. The Colts are trying to do the same thing. Although the Colts ended up with running back Trent Richardson, there are many teams across the league that could have used him as well. Mind you, all these teams offensive lines are terrible so there is no guarantee that Richardson would have had immediate success, but building a line could have been done through drafting and free agency. These teams just need a solid back to build around. Richardson is young enough to be that back. Here are the five teams I feel would make a better fit for Richardson.
