Kansas State and Oregon were pegged for the BCS Title game at one stage this season, but tough losses relegated them to the Fiesta Bowl. Both teams are similar only in their success, both run very different styles of offense.
The Wildcats, led by Bill Snyder, run a power based, methodical offense that pounds opponents into submission, while the defense is as fundamentally sound as any in the nation.
The Ducks run Chip Kelly's "Blur Ball" offense, a system that offers three different modes - fast, faster and lightspeed. The defense plays fast, closing on the ball quickly and forcing turnovers.
Both teams run the ball exceptionally well, setting up effective passing attacks, while the teams are first and third in the nation respectively in turnover margin.
Expect this game to be a humdinger, but expect the Wildcats to be chowing down on Tostitos post-game.
