Tom Coughlin is not the only hot name in the NFL who could be on the hot seat at the end of the season. The NFC East has basically become the NFC Least with both the Giants and Redskins still looking for their first wins of the season. The Redskins, whose offense seems to be moving forward and its defense still cannot get out of reverse, have a lot to work on as well.

The issues with RGIII and his knee seem to have been resolved with three straight 300-yard passing games, but the offense and the defense still have not been in sync together yet, which is bad news for Mike Shanahan, whose edict of “Super Bowl or the season is a failure” resonates like some George Steinbrenner would say years ago in the Yankees' quest for World Series excellence and then the team has nothing to show for it.

Should Shanahan be let go (and his son Kyle Shanahan), who will take over? Who will run the show? What happens to Jim Haslet, the team’s defensive coordinator? There are major changes on the horizon with this team and owner Daniel Snyder pushing all the buttons.

Here are some names that may show up on the radar should Snyder pull the plug.
