After a predictably slow start to the game, Seattle came within seconds of upsetting the Falcons at home. Trailing by 20 points going into the final quarter, Russell Wilson led the Seahawks to an amazing comeback, taking the lead with only 31 seconds remaining to silence a rowdy Atlanta crowd at the Georgia Dome.

As most Atlanta fans know though, you should never count Matty Ice out. After the restart, Ryan completed two passes to set up a 49-yard field goal attempt for Matt Bryant. Bryant drilled the field goal and put the Falcons back in front with 8 seconds remaining. After a poorly executed squib kick gave Seattle the ball back with good field position, the Seahawks were unable to move the ball into field goal range and the game ended with Russell Wilson tossing the ball up for grabs in the end zone.

The Falcons host the 49ers next week in the conference championship but here are a few of the best images from Atlanta’s thrilling victory.
