One to watch

Tennessee Tech wide receiver Da’Rick Rogers was a very popular name being thrown around during the middle rounds. His supreme talent definitely warranted a selection but character issues ultimately led to him not being drafted at all. Rogers was a first all-SEC selection for the Tennessee Volunteers after catching 67 passes for 1,040 yards and nine touchdowns.

Before the start of the 2012 season, Rogers was suspended from the team indefinitely for a violation of team rules. He admitted to failing three drug tests while at the school and later transferred to Tennessee Tech University and posted a statline of 61 receptions for 893 yards and 10 touchdowns.

At the NFL Combine, Rogers displayed his elite athleticism by running a 4.52 forty-yard dash, a 39.5 inch vertical, a 4.06 20-yard shuttle, a 6.71 3-cone drill, and an 11 foot broad jump. Rogers dominated the SEC as a sophomore two years ago, which is regarded as the toughest conference in all of college football just two years ago. If he can get his act together and stay away from trouble, the potential to be a starting wide receiver is there.
