While teams across the league are preparing for the Playoffs, about half the league is preparing for something else post-2012; the NFL Draft.
No team or coach for that matter will admit they are focused on the draft, when there are still two games to be played.
Still, it can't be ignored. Whether your record is 2-12, 3-11, 4-10 or even 6-8, your chances at the Playoffs are surely out of sight.
That is when the teams' head honchos start looking at new talent to come in and jump-start their lowly teams.
The top 10 this year looks pretty much set in terms of teams, the positioning may be moved around a little these last two weeks, but most know who will land in the top 10.
Let's just assume the season ended today, in that case, the number one pick goes to.........
