According to a report on USAToday.com, "A heart specialist who conducted tests on Utah defensive tackle Star Lotulelei has determined the NFL prospect's heart is functioning normally and his abnormal test at the February Scouting Combine might have been due to a viral infection."
For the 6'2", 315-pound defensive tackle, that is great news. For opposing offensive linemen and running backs, the fear of the mammoth defensive tackle being a force in the NFL has already sunk in.
Star Lotulelei will be a stud in this league. Had it not been for the irregular heart condition that was discovered, the Utah product could have been the first player chosen in the 2013 Draft.
Yes, he is that good.
The intangibles this player possesses remind some of Haloti Ngata of Baltimore and if he plays like the Ravens' interior lineman, the team who chooses him will have a star for the next decade. He could easily, in my opinion, be the best defensive tackle in this league in three years.
Now, where does he go? What team will make the next great defensive tackle their defensive centerpiece. Here are five teams that could use his services.
