Here's a look at the NFL Yards After Catch (YAC) leaderboard in 2012. As noted elsewhere this off-season, YAC is a fun, buzz-worthy stat. But at the end of the day, it has a very low Correlation to Victory.

Plenty of bad teams boast high YAC (Browns, Raiders); and plenty of good teams suck at racking up YAC (Broncos, Colts, Bears).

The 7-9 Carolina Panthers led the NFL in average YAC in 2012. Four of the top six teams failed to make the playoffs and two of the top four teams in YAC were two of the worst offenses in football (Browns, Raiders).
