The USC Trojans minus quarterback Matt Barkley will play the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in the Sun Bowl. The Trojans started the season number one in the AP Poll. Matt Barkley opted out of the 2011 NFL Draft to play his final season at USC.

Now the Trojans will play the Yellow Jackets in the Hyundai Sun Bowl.
Barkley is out with a shoulder injury. Marqise Lee is questionable with a left knee injury. And this is the last game for defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin, father to head coach Lane Kiffin.
For the Yellow Jackets', coach Paul Johnson will try to erase a 0-4 postseason record.
