Dave Holcomb is a sports reporter for NJ.com at The Star-Ledger in New Jersey and a co-host of I-80 Sports Talk with Tom Pollin at MTR Media. He graduated from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University in June 2013. He was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania until he turned 13 and moved to Bergen County, New Jersey. Holcomb interned two summers for Football Nation and FFChamps, and he has been writing articles since July of 2011. In 2012, Holcomb began hosting and producing "Monday Morning Huddle". Season one includes 33 episodes and has accumulated over 5,500 listens. Season two features 29 episodes so far and has already surpassed 8,000 listens. Holcomb enjoyed covering girls soccer this past fall and now covers girls basketball and swimming for NJ.com, but in his spare time, he still loves producing quality, thought-provoking content for Football Nation. Starting in the fall of 2013, he began hosting his own bi-weekly live sports show at MTR Media. In December, FN Senior Writer Tom Pollin joined the show which moved to Wednesdays and Fridays at 7pm EST. His favorite two things to do besides spend time with friends and family is to watch sports, movies, and television shows. His favorite two sports to watch are baseball and football. Through his college years at Syracuse, Holcomb has discovered that he has a passion for analyzing things whether it is a particular sports game or the tiniest things in life.
