Last week the Buccaneers made running back Doug Martin a healthy scratch. Then he was already made inactive for the team's week 17 season finale with the Panthers. It all seemed to come with no true rhyme-or-reason, but now we have clarity as to why Martin was sat down last week and made inactive before the team's finale. He has been suspended four games for violating the league's substance abuse policy.
